Subhaashita Sutras - 21

उद्यमेनैव सिध्यन्ति कार्याणि न मनोरथैः ।

न हि सुप्तस्य सिंहस्य प्रविशन्ति मुखे मृगाः ॥

It is only hard work and effort that results in fruitful achievement-not mere idle speculation. Animals do not fall into the open mouth of a sleeping lion of their own accord.
