One repents after committing a mistake but if one gets such a wisdom before committing a mistake one’s progress cannot be stalled.

A wrong act entails repentance. One gets remorseful after knowing the fault he has committed. But if he could be wise enough before committing the act, there is no going back for him; for if one acts after carefully brooding on his course of action, there is no set back and hence the progress is unchecked and speedy.
